Alabama man sought in triple slaying arrested
Police say they've arrested an Alabama man wanted in a triple slaying. The Decatur Police Department said in a news release that authorities arrested 58-year-old Carson Peters on Tuesday.
Authorities haven't release details of the arrest. Police say Peters is accused of capital murder in the deaths of 54-year-old Teresa Peters and two others on Sunday in Morgan County.
News outlets report court documents show Carson Peters had filed for divorce from Teresa Peters in January.
A filing by the woman three days before the shooting deaths shows she asked a judge to hold the man in contempt of court for allegedly locking some of her belongings in a shed.
Police also arrested a woman, 41-year-old April Hanner, who they said was "actively assisting Peters in eluding law enforcement."
