The triple murder trial of Chad Daybell continues Thursday as the Prosecution continues to call witnesses.

Thursday morning Prosecutors called Sheila Daybell, Chad's mother, to the stand. Special Prosecutor Ingrid Batey questions Shiela Daybell. Watch the proceedings below:

Sheila told prosecutors that when she last saw Tammy Daybell, shortly before her death, that she seemed fine. She was surprised to receive a call from Chad about Tammy's death. Sheila says that Chad seemed upset when she and her husband, Chad's father, arrived following Tammy's death.

Sheila says she was surprised that Chad moved out of his house two weeks after Tammy's death. Sheila and her husband met Chad at Texas Roadhouse a month after Tammy died. She says she was surprised to meet Lori Vallow and was shocked when they said they were married. Lori told Sheila at the dinner, that her husband died of a heart attack, in reference to Charles Vallow's death. Charles was shot to death by Alex Cox, Lori's brother. She is now awaiting trial in Arizona for conspiracy to kill Charles.

Sheila testified that she didn't know where Chad and Lori were living at the time of the dinner at Texas Roadhouse. She only learned they had moved to Hawaii a few weeks afterward. She found it strange that Lori never mentioned that she had children, nor did they ever mention having kids with them while talking to them in Hawaii.

Under cross-examination by Mr. Prior, Chad's lawyer, Sheila testified that Lori was charming and convincing. Sheila told Prior that Chad could be shy, soft-spoken, and could be a bit of an introvert. Sheila says that Chad acted like someone who had just lost his partner when she saw him after Tammy's death. She also said that it is common in the LDS faith for people to get married quickly after meeting.

On re-direct by the Prosecution, Sheila was asked if it is common in the LDS faith to get married two weeks after your spouse dies, Sheila says "No, not common."

Chad Daybell is accused of murdering his wife, Tammy Daybell, and his new wife Lori Vallow's children, JJ Vallow and Tylee Ryan. The children's remains were found on Chad Daybell's property.
