The Deputy Speaker of the Assembly, at the same time the deputy of the Democratic Party, Agron Gjekmarkaj, in a meeting in Bulqiza, stopped at today's address of Prime Minister Edi Rama with the government cabinet and the parliamentary group of the Socialist Party.

Gjekmarkaj said that Rama spoke as if he had been in the opposition for 11 years and that " he is promising that as a novice he will fix the bad things that another government has done, not his".

Among other things, he said that the prime minister has no problem firing ministers and directors, without taking moral responsibility himself.

Also, the democratic deputy said that it is the duty of the DP and the opposition to bring about change, as he added that the government is doing everything to keep the country in its current state.

PD has appeared on the stage of history as a party that changes it and has done so several times by changing the country's destiny in 1992 or 2005.

Likewise, history has not spared him, it has opposed him with its own atavisms with great violence, as in 1997.

It has survived thanks to the presence of a heroic minority which has expanded in conversation with society day after day. PD follows the society step by step, becoming the voice of its dynamics, it does not claim that the society blindly follows us.

That's all we have been under aggression and attack from many factors in this period, in this walk in the desert, to make us nothing!

This has happened because they have seen the fear of their defeat in the PD. PD overcame this drama, united, we got over the blows and wounds and everyone feels proud and today loves and appreciates PD more as our common home, the shelter of great hopes.

Today we have a fundamental problem, the President of PD Sali Berisha has been arrested. If at the beginning we had any illusions that this is only a problem of the justice system, today we are clear that this is a major problem of social conscience because when the founder of pluralism is stopped, the annihilation of pluralism and freedom is required. Albanian society should not be confused, it should solve this impasse in its subconscious.

Dear democrats, we must not lose pride in what we have been, what we are and what we want to offer to Albania!

Albania has achieved a lot with DP in power, freedom, the state of law, integration, NATO, visa-free movement, modern infrastructure! We have to talk to people! The DP is making strong denunciations and doing its duty, but the PD has much more capacity than the denunciations, it is preparing its offer for Albania, for economic transformations for higher salaries and pensions, for an uncompromising fight against corruption, for the closure of the integration process that we are starting, for education and dignified health for the return of Albanians to Albania.

In Bulqiza, we live on riches on gold and minerals, but Bulqiza is poor and here we all have to ask for forgiveness because forgiveness makes us better and helps us to be more true to the citizens.

Today we listened for two hours to the Prime Minister who spoke as if he has been in the opposition for 11 years and is promising that as a novice he will correct the bad things done by another government, not his. His thesis was justice as an electoral fable. Once, in the most positive sense, we were told that the reform in justice was supported, with the international factor as a godfather! Rama said today I did it, but I will leave him free to do true justice! Naturally, this spectacle amuses him, it doesn't hurt him that he releases some ministers and directors without holding moral responsibility, while hundreds of others steal undisturbed and feed the system that corrupts free voting and public life.

Look everywhere at the scandals in the municipality, in the ministry in the government, public money that is stolen, poverty that is given to us, corruption that affects the quality of life.

This society must make a choice: either fight corruption and become a free and democratic European society or submit to it and lose perspective. This government will do everything to keep the situation unchanged. It is our sacred duty to make the change, where after the unification we open PD, talk to the people, encourage intellectuals, professionals, ordinary people to join politics, give Albania the victory it expects by putting PD to the test - giving her confidence by supporting her in this historic battle against the tentacles of history!
